It must have been about 1948 or 49 that several of us went to Horseshoe from Omaha. Jerry Ziegman and I, Gene Du Boff. My recollection is that Shel Rips and Howard and Arnie Stern went also. My cabin counselor was Gordie Morrison - a great guy who I heard later had something to do with running the camp. There was a counselor next door whose name was, I think, Mickie Edelson (?sp) who reputedly always came to camp with two trunks - one with clothes and one with candy. Any news to shard?
