Hey....

Here's the info on what's going on at Mute right now.

New releases this week include the fabulous new Anita Lane single "The Next Man That I See", Einstürzende Neubauten's "Strategies Against Architecture III" and, on Future Groove, the new Desert single "Lettin' Ya Mind Go".

Out and about live this week is Depeche Mode - their European tour continues into France, Germany and Spain and Fad Gadget, who are appearing as special guests of Depeche Mode.

There's 2 opportunities to see Add N To (X) live this week: They're in Nottingham tonight and then on Wednesday they'll be supporting Hawkwind at the Royal Festival Hall in London. Tickets are on sale now, £12.50-£17.50 and can be booked on-line without booking fee at http://www.rfh.org.uk.

Luke Slater is DJing this week in Birmingham, and Richie Hawtin will be DJing in USA and Europe. Full details of all live dates for Mute artists can be found at http://www.mute.com.

Out in the next few weeks will be The Best of Fad Gadget and new singles from Goldfrapp (Lovely Head/Pilots (On A Star), Appliance (Land, Sea and Air), Depeche Mode (Freelove), 2nd Gen (Musicians Are Morons EP) and Fad Gadget (Fireside Favourites 12"). There's also 2 new limited editions out - the Depeche Mode "Singles 81>98" album box set and Goldfrapp's "Felt Mountain" with special bonus disc.

Talking of Goldfrapp, we've got a new competition at mute.com to win signed copies of "Felt Mountain" - just visit the site and answer the simple question to answer. There's also a thrid date at Shepherds Bush Empire added after the first 2 nights sold out, so if you didn't manage to get a ticket, they're on sale now for 7th November.

That's all for this week.

Hi

The big news this week, for those it concerns, is that the postponed Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds North American tour dates have been rescheduled. I won't list them here, as I know they're not of interest to everyone, but if you want to see the full list they're on http://www.mute.com and http://www.nickcave.net. Original tickets will still be valid or, if you prefer, you can get refunds from the postponed dates at the point of sale.

Something else which may be of interest to you is the unfortunate news that Fad Gadget will not be supporting Depeche Mode on the rest of their tour - their drummer has a broken collarbone and is unable to perform.

Releases this week include the limited edition version of Goldfrapp's Felt Mountain album, which went Gold in the UK this week. The Ltd. version comes with a bonus CD containing rare and unreleased material.

The Best of Fad Gadget is also out this week, and is worth buying for Paul Morley's sleeve notes alone... There's also the limited box set of the Depeche Mode singles compilations available from this week.

Out very soon is new singles from Depeche Mode (Freelove), Goldfrapp (double A side Lovely Head / Pilots (On A Star), Appliance (Land, Sea and Air) and, on novamute, 2nd Gen (Musicians Are Morons EP) and SI Futures (Freestyle Disco). At the site you'll also find a competition to win signed copies of Goldfrapp's Felt Mountain.

Out and about live this week are Depeche Mode, who's worldwide Exciter tour has now reached the UK, Appliance who will be playing a headline show in Sheffield before going on the road supporting Hefner, Goldfrapp, who are playing live in Europe, SI Futures who'll be live in Paris and Richie Hawtin who'll be DJing in the USA and Europe. As usual, full details of all dates can be found at mute.com.

That's all for now.

Cheers, Iain
Mute, London
